About Sithi

Sithi brings together the public data on flu, RSV, COVID-19 and norovirus in England and adds an independent forecast of the weeks ahead. It is intended for anyone who plans around winter illness: employers, care providers, schools, pharmacies and members of the public who want to know what is circulating.

Independence

Sithi is independent analysis of public data. It is not produced by, affiliated with or endorsed by the NHS, UKHSA or any government body, and it is not medical advice. For health concerns use NHS 111 online or call 111. We are not paid by any health body, pharmaceutical company or test supplier.

What we publish

• The latest UKHSA surveillance figures for England and its regions, collected automatically each week.
• A weekly forecast for one to eight weeks ahead, with 80% ranges and its issue date.
• Short news articles and explainers in Sithi News, with links to NHS and UKHSA sources.
• An optional weekly email update.
